SELECTION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

The 3rd year students of the specialty “Management” will be able to choose one of the following study programs: Business Administration, Hotel Business Management, Information Systems Management .

The 3rd year students of the specialty “International Economic Relations” will be able to choose one of the following study programs: International Economic Relations, International Business, International Economics.

Bachelor students are offered Dual Degree Program with University of Minnesota Crookston (USA) (Dual Diplomas University of Minnesota Crookston).

Admission to a shorter study period of Bachelor Degree

The Institute enrtolls students on the second course who have already received an educational qualification level of Junior Specialist.

Admission based on an educational qualification level of Junior Specialist is held according to the results of professional entrance exams.

All students need to pass test of English language (Michigan Test).

Procedure for admission to the Ukrainian-American Concordia University

  1. The applicants for Bachelor’s Degree on the basis of complete secondary school education submit their applications only in electronic form. There are not limited submissions of applications in electronic form on the speciality on the Ukrainian-American Concordia University.

All other categories of entrants submit applications only in paper form.

  1. The application in paper form is submitted by the entrant personally to the Admissions Board of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University. Each application in paper form is registered.
  2. When submitting the application in paper form, the applicant submits personally:
  • Ukrainian Passport (internal and international);
  • Military Certificate (for men);
  • documents of previously acquired education;
  • copy of national ID Card;
  • Certificate of External Independent Evaluation (for applicants on the basis of secondary education);
  1. Also applicants add:
  • a copy of the documents of previously acquired education;
  • a copy of the Certificate of External Independent Evaluation (for applicants on the basis of secondary education);
  • a copy of Ukrainian Passport (internal and international);
  • four (4) photos (3×4).

Other copies of the documents are submitted by the entrant, if it is caused by special conditions of admission in the relevant specialties (specializations, educational programs, directions of training).

  1. Applicants on the basis of complete secondary school education represent their Certificate of External Independent Evaluation issued in 2017, 2018, 2019 years, except for grades from English, French, German and Spanish languages. English, French, German and Spanish are accepted only from Certificates of External Independent Evaluation of 2018 and 2019 years.
  2. The application in electronic form is submitted by the applicant on-line and considered by the Admissions Board of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University.
  3. If the applicant have studied abroad but planning to continue education in Ukraine, he need to submit his educational documents for recognition (nostrification) in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from May 05, 2015 № 504, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on May 27, 2015 № 614/27059. The procedure for the recognition of the document is carried out during the first year of studing in the Ukrainian-American Concordia University.

Foreign students could apply to study Bachelor Degree in the Specialties “Management” or “International Economic Relations”. All subjects are taught in English in accordance with the law of Ukraine “About higher education”.

All applicants must prove English proficiency by submitting a Test in English language (Michigan test).

The Institute is accredited at the IV level (Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine HI № 1196219 from 13.11.2017).

Rules of admission to the Private Educational Establishment-Institute “Ukrainian-American Concordia University” in 2019 approved by the rector dated 24.01.2019.

Admission for International Students

International students are enrolled into higher education programs in accordance with the Law of Ukraine dated 04.02.94, the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 26.02.93 № 136 «Education of International Students in Ukraine». Nostrification of International Documents on education is obligatory. It is conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. All documents must be translated into Ukrainian and legalized in the Embassy of your country in Ukraine.

List of Required Documents for International Students

  • Certificate and Record of High School Transcript (translated and legalized by your country’s official authorities either in your home country or in the Embassy of your country in Ukraine) and nostrificated  by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • Medical Certificate (translated and legalized);
  • copy of Passport (translated and legalized);
  • fourteen (14) photos (3×4);
  • proof of fully paid tuition and other fees (including library deposit, dormitory, medical health insurance, immigration insurance and registration).

The 3rd year students of the specialty “International Economic Relations” will be able to choose one of the following study programs: International Economic Relations, International Business, International Economics.
ConcordiaUA Bachelor Students are eligible to take Bachelor of Business Administration Minor accredited by FIBAA.

BBA Curriculum

The new rule for transfer credits is as follows:

In order to transfer credits from another educational institution to ConcordiaUA, a potential student must provide ConcordiaUA with the information regarding the learning outcomes of the course, for which the credit transfer is sought. Furthermore, adequate information on certification/accreditation/quality assurance of the HEI from where the credit transfer is sought must be provided by the potential student.

If the HEI possesses nationally/internationally recognized accreditation, and if the learning outcomes are not substantially different from the ones at ConcordiaUA, credit transfer may be allowed. In case of rejection of a foreign qualification, substantial differences in the learning outcomes have to be substantiated.

There is no limitation to the quantity of the courses that may be transferred.
