Honorary Doctor of our University Leonid Makarovich Kravchuk (born January 10, 1934, Velikiy Zhitin village, Volyn province, the Polish Republic, now the Rivne region) is the First people’s elected President of Ukraine after gaining independence (1991-1994). He was the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 1990-1991, People’s Deputy (member of the Ukrainian Parliament) of Ukraine in 1990-1991 and 1994-2006.
Leonid Makarovich Kravchuk – is a Hero of Ukraine (2001).
Since 1999 – he is a Co-Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Association of Democratic Forces “Zlagoda”.
He is an Honorary President of the International Public Association “Rivne Autonomy” and an Honorary Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Foundation for International Communication “Ukrainian People’s Embassy” (since 1994).
Since 2011 – he is an Honorary President of the “Perspective Ukraine” Foundation.
In January 2016 he proposed to provide Crimea with state autonomy as part of Ukraine, and Donbass – a “special status”.
Much attention Leonid Makarovich Kravchuk is paid to the development of the education system of the Independent Ukraine, to strengthen the image and rating of Ukrainian higher education at the international level. He actively supports Ukrainian-German business and humanitarian relations, is an Honorary Member of the German-Ukrainian Association of Economics and Science (DUG WW).

Prof. Dr. phil. h.c. Moritz Hunzinger (Germany) is an expert in Public Relations. Since 2016 Chairman of the Board of the mobile payment company Cashcloud. Since 2015 Board Member of the automotive manufacturer company Gemballa Holding, from 2016 to 2017 interim CEO of Mars One Ventures. Prior to these positions he was Chairman of the Board of stock listed infas Holding (previously Hunzinger Information) for 25 years. Since 2015 Chairman of the Advisory Board of Brocard Parfums, Vice-Chairman from 2003 until 2015. Assigned to Cabinet of the then EU Vice-President Martin Bangemann, he advised the European Commission on cooperation with Eastern and Central Europe countries.

He is also an Honorary Professor of PR and Communication, the Vice-Chairman of Advisory Board and the European Union Coordinator at the Ukrainian-American Concordia University (UACU). He received his diploma from the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk. Holds Honorary Doctorates of Philosophy of both Universities – the UACU and National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (NPU) and was appointed as Honorary Senator by the Ukrainian Free University in Munich, Germany in 2008. Since 2015 he is an Honorary Professor at the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University (Lutsk, Ukraine).  Since 2014, Moritz Hunzinger is a professor for PR and Communication at the Faculty of Socio-Psychological Sciences and Management and thus the first foreign faculty member of the NPU (Kyiv, Ukraine). In 2017 he was elected a member of the Supervisory Board of the NPU, which is headed by former President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko;

Ukrainian-American Concordia University welcomes Prof. Dr. phil. Gert. R. Polli, an organization and government security and strategy expert with more than 30 years of experience in civil, military, intelligence and diplomatic environment as well as in other public and private sectors, having worked, inter alia, as Head of Corporate Security at Siemens AG and the Austrian government as Head of Intelligence for more than 6 years. Ukrainian-American Concordia University welcomes Dr. Stephаn Welk, LL.M., a citizen of Germany and São Tomé e Principé, Business Economist and Diplomat as Honorary Professor for Public International Law and Diplomacy as of September 1, 2017.

Stephan Welk graduated as Economist at the University of Hagen in 1998 and obtained his Doctorate Degree of Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) in 2008 at the University of Hamburg/London Business School and was admitted to the Degree of Master of Laws in December 2012 at the University of Liverpool, England.

Stephan Welk had developed various business projects in Hong Kong, Bahamas, Europe and Middle East. In 2003-2005 he served as a Managing Director for International Business at Mauser GmbH (Isny, Germany). In 2005-2007 he was a Member of the Board of Directors of SAT & Co. AG in Kazakhstan.

At the present time he works as a Consultant for the World Bank, Senior Consultant and Managing Partner of IB&GC Ltd. London, Member of the Board of Directors of Wedo AG Dubai, Member of the Board of Aduno GmbH Wirtschafts- & Regierungsberatung and as a Special Advisor of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sao Tomé e Principé.

Stephan Welk volunteered for the Laureus Foundation, namely in Burundi, where he established a school and supported African artists. In São Tomé e Príncipe he supports the Universidade de São Tomé e Príncipe and allows students, in collaboration with the foreign language department of the university, to visit the University of Münster for 4 weeks a year. Stephan Welk was awarded with a Grand Cross in the Royal Order of the Lion of Rwanda by King Yuhi VI of Rwanda. He is a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Portuguese Royal House, and of the Royal Portuguese Association of Guards of Honored Castles, Pantheons and National Monuments as well as a Knight of the Royal House of Georgia.
