Assessment Center at WIUU on September 14, 2014

On September 14, 2014 an Assessment Center was organized for MBA students at WIUU. Assessment Center is a special technique consisting of a series of selection activities which is used more and more by companies during the process of selection of candidates for a job. Assessment Center is considered by many employers to be the most accurate method of determining employee potential, as this method has a capacity to tell much more about a candidate than a regular interview. So called “soft skills” (communication skills, team work, leadership, stress stability and so on) are determined very well by the Assessment Center. Since such skills are crucially important for a successful job performance, employers want to know whether a potential candidate has them. This is the reason why employers all over the world use this technique more and more.
WIUU always does its best to make sure that its graduates and students get the jobs they deserve. The Assessment Center was organized to help students learn about this technique and practice for it. The AC at WIUU included group discussion, solving case studies, in-tray exercises and group activities of practical tasks. It was a great day full of learning and fun.
