No one can dispute the fact, that today students have lots on their plate and have to work hard towards good marks and reputation. However, it is important to relax and do something the way different from studying. For instance, I find reading as one of pleasure. It helps me to dive deep into another atmosphere and deflect from the daily challenges. Moreover, I manage to spend time reading every evening, as it rejuvenates me after a stressful day. Thus, despite overloaded schedules in universities I have a me time to look through several pages of my favorite book.
To begin with, I am keen on learning foreign languages. So, three years ago I begun learning Poland language. After a while, I decided to take part in Poland Scientific work. My topic was “Preposition and postposition of adjectives in two Poland novels”. According to it, I had to choose and then read two Poland novels. One of the novels was called “Kamizelka” (in Poland), that is “waistcoat” in English. This story is so touchy and heart rendering. It is about a man and a woman who are married. However, there some struggles and serious issues in their life. The man has tuberculosis, so he was weakening and sickening the rest of his life. His women did not want him to be down in the dumps, so she decided to sue his waistcoat that he wore every time. Thus, she supported and gave him a belief that there was a chance for recovery.
This novel shows that modern people often forget about real values, such as health, family and relationship. As today many teenagers think only about phones, social networks and popularity. However, due to this novel they probably may change their way of thinking.
I would rather advice this melancholic novel to everyone who want to feel that dramatic emotions and think about eternity.»
