The undergraduate educational program “Business Administration in Management and International Business” is designed to prepare students for a successful international career.
Preparation of bachelors in Business Administration in Management and International Business is a business education that aims to provide students with high leadership skills and abilities, which will allow them to occupy leading positions in various types of organizations and commercial structures. To achieve this goal, a program accredited by the international agency FIBAA was developed.
The required courses in general education provide the foundation for students to understand themselves and their dynamic work. Students learn to communicate and develop an understanding of cultural, social, economic, international and technical environments in which we live and improve oral and written language skills in English. Also, students complete the cycle of core required courses that help them gain knowledge in the field of business organization, introduce basic concepts regarding management and organization and provide a general overview of decision-making strategies. The qualitative and quantitative nature of this common core enables students to develop their critical and analytical skills.
Students learn to master the professional terminology of the English language and management methods, and determine what should be the behavior and style of business relations with partners. Students also learn a second foreign language.
Among the business-focused courses you will find Business Ethics, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Statistics, Business Policy, Business English etc.
The Program is delivered entirely in English.
This Program leads students to receive an international certificate of the degree “Bachelor” accredited by FIBAA.
The students have an opportunity to participate in Exchange Mobility Programs (USA, Germany, Canada, Belgium).

Electives are designed to complement the basic educational program. Students choose electives based on their areas of interest. Students can choose electives from general and core educational electives.
Usually, the elective course is equal to 6 ECTS credits (3 US credits).
As a rule, from the general education electives, students choose 5 courses – 30 ECTS credits, and from the core educational electives – 6 courses – 36 credits.
The study of electives takes place during the entire period of study. General information on the electives is available on the website, but information on specific courses offered for the next semester is provided to students on the Moodle platform. When registering for subjects, students receive advisory information about the number of places offered by the electives in the group, the necessary prerequisites, if any, etc.
Students are required to complete and defend a Course Paper in Economics and to complete an Internship which is the basis of Bachelor’s work. Course Paper is an independent, educational and scientific research of the applicant. Applicants master the methods and skills of conducting scientific research when writing the Course Paper. It contributes to the development of the student’s creative thinking process, research skills, analysis and interpretation of information, and the ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations.
ConcordiaUA students are offered an opportunity to become interns in the field of business administration / management / international business at prestigious Ukrainian, international and joint venture companies and organizations with the prospect of obtaining a job there after graduation. During their internship, students are supervised by experienced faculty and company executives. This allows future graduates not only to acquire the necessary practical skills, but also to adapt faster to the conditions of the real business environment.
Bachelor’s Qualification Work is general in nature and includes independent individual student work with elements of research and innovation. It reflects theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the normative and selective components of the educational and professional training program for higher education applicants. The ability to identify a scientific problem, explain and formulate its relevance, plan and conduct an empirical study, independently argue conclusions, summarize and systematize the results taken into account in the evaluation of Work as certifying the theoretical and methodological level of the graduate’s qualifications and ability in professional activity.
State assessment is carried out in the form of public defense (demonstration) of qualification work. Attestation of persons who obtain a Bachelor’s degree is carried out by the Examination Commission, which may include representatives of employers and their associations.
Educational Program “Business Administration in Management and International Business” is structured for 4 years. The student must earn 240 ECTS credits equal to 120 credits by American system.
