The journal was founded in 2018 by organizations from Ukraine and USA: Private Higher Educational Establishment-Institute “Ukrainian-American Concordia University”, Public Institution “Institute of Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”, Concordia University, Inc. (USA). The Editorial Board features representatives of Ukraine, USA and Germany.

Purpose statement: Business, Economics, Sustainability, Leadershipand Innovation (BESLI) publishes papers that augment the fundamental ways weunderstand, describe, model and integrate in an interdisciplinary fashion. Thejournal topics (business, economics, sustainability, leadership or innovation)are an explicit part of the journal’s purpose and the contents areinterdisciplinary theoretical and empirical investigations. Essentially, BESLIis dedicated to applications of sustainability to business and economicsthrough various forms of leadership and innovation. The broad mixture of thedisciplines represented in BESLI creates a foundation for many bodies ofknowledge that share common principles. BESLI juxtaposes developments indifferent sub-topics of business, economics, sustainability, leadership andinnovation yet, casts a wide enough net to allow for multi-directionalinterdisciplinary discoveries that advance the science with originalcontributions and hopefully improve societies and the natural environment. Inthis way, scientific researchers may obtain fresh perspectives on commoninterdisciplinary principles and their respective disciplines
