Ukrainian-American Concordia University announces the 2019 enrollment campaign for on-campus and online bachelor’s degree programs.

The language of instruction at UACU is English in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” (Article 48).

Selection of the Educational Program

3rd-year students of the speciality “Management” will be able to choose one of the following study programs (majors): Business Administration, Hotel Business Management, Information Systems Management.

3rd-year students of the speciality “International Economic Relations” will be able to choose one of the following study programs (majors): International Economic Relations, International Business, International Economics.

ConcordiaUA undergraduate students are eligible to enroll for the dual bachelor’s degree program offered at the University of Minnesota Crookston (USA). The program details and requirements are available in the section “Dual Degree Programs”.

Programs of admission examinations:

 

Shortened Bachelor’s Degree Program

Students who have obtained the education qualification level of Junior Specialist can be enrolled at the second year of studies. Enrollment is based on the results of admission examinations according to speciality.

An individual may be accepted for admission at the speciality different from the one stated in their Diploma on condition the entrant successfully passes additional admission examinations with respect to the grade point average stated in their Diploma of Junior Specialist.

The Institute enrolls students into the shortened bachelor’s degree program in Management and International Economic Relations on the basis of the certified education levels of Junior Specialist, Bachelor, Master.

All applicants are to take the English Placement Test (Michigan Test).

 

Admission Procedure

1. Applications for full-time (on-campus) and extramural (online) bachelor’s degree programs on the grounds of the complete general secondary educations are accepted only online. There are no limitations on the number of electronic applications at UACU.

2. The administrative order on enrollment is issued on submission to the Admissions Office (office 1-4) of the following documents:

  • a photocopy of a document verifying your identity and citizenship;
  • a photocopy of your military service card or military service registration certificate – for persons liable for military service;
  • the original of a nationally recognized document certifying previously obtained education (education qualification level), on the grounds of which a student is enrolled, and the official supplement (transcript) accompanying this document;
  • External Independent Evaluation Certificate(s) of the relevant level;
  • documents justifying an entrant’s right to take part in the competition based on the results of admission examinations (or admissions ranking) on the basis of a complete general secondary education, admission interview, or non-competitive admission (if available);
  • four (4) color photos (3 х 4 cm).

3. Entrants applying on the grounds of complete general secondary education are to submit Certificate(s) of External Independent Evaluation issued in 2017, 2018, 2019, exclusive of the English, French, German and Spanish languages. English, French, German and Spanish scores are accepted only in EIE Certificates of 2018 and 2019.

4. Applicants who submit a document certifying a degree (level) of education received in another state (hereinafter – the Document), must undergo the procedure of legalization and recognition (nostrification) of the Document, carried out in accordance with the Procedure for recognizing the degrees of higher education obtained in foreign higher educational institutions, established by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 504 dated May 5th, 2015, registered at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on May 27th, 2015, No. 614/27059. In order to continue studies at the Ukrainian-American Concordia University, a student must have their documents recognized within the first year of their enrollment.

The Institute enrolls international students into the bachelor’s degree program in Management and International Economic Relations. The language of instruction is English as specified in the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”.

All applicants are to take the English Placement Test (Michigan Test).

The Institute is accredited as a ІV-level degree granting institution of higher education (Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, series ІП No. 11003383 dated January 8th, 2019).

«Admission Regulations of the Private Higher Educational Establishment-Institute “Ukrainian-American Concordia University” in 2019» were approved by the Rector on January 24th, 2019.

 

Military Training

UACU students can undergo training on the Reserve Officers Training Program at the Department of Military Training of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 15 specialities. Training at the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv is possible only by the assignment issued by Ukrainian-American Concordia University.
