Faculty and staff of Concordia University in Kyiv continue their work and sustain online education under extremely challenging conditions. Frequent power outages, lack of heating, and unstable internet access have not stopped the learning process despite the ongoing war in Ukraine.

A total of 247 participants were registered, 192 of whom successfully completed the training and received certificates from the online school on European law and integration, organized by the Kyiv Institute of European Integration (the Netherlands) in cooperation with the Ukrainian-American Concordia University.

The Rector of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University, Oleksandr O. Romanovskyi, has been supporting schoolchildren, applicants, students and graduates of UACU for many years through the Charity “I give my heart to young people”.
The University Charity helps to overcome financial and social barriers and contributes to the development of the education system of Ukraine, thereby increasing its competitiveness and quality. The Charity provides many gifted young people with an opportunity to get high quality education and career.
For more than 25 years, annual winners of the Business English Competition, who have demonstrated a high level of knowledge and skills in Business English, and successfully completed the competitive tasks, have received scholarships for tuition.
UACU has helped students to access higher education and has familiarized them with the best practices of the world. Our graduates work in leading companies, scientific centers, public organizations, and to startup their own business. They are leaders, innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs and public figures. They are changing the world for the better.
Many good deeds have already been done, but there is still work to be done. Especially now in these difficult times for Ukraine, during the full-scale invasion and its impact on education in general.
