“A teacher is the one who instills in the learner an inspiration to learn and to be good”

Anastasiia Baiuk, II year student, speciality “International Economic Relations + BBA”.

Anastasiia talks about her favorite instructor Ph.D Liubov Zharova:

“A teacher is the one who instills in the learner an inspiration to learn and to be good.” I’d love to start my feedback with these words. It is worth mentioning, that the majority of teachers at Ukrainian-American Concordia University are professionals in their fields. I respect and appreciate all of them.

Today I’d like to talk about the professor, I was lucky enough to spend two semesters with. This is Liubov Zharova, the person, who inspires me the most. First of all, it will take too long to describe how many useful things I have learned during my Micro- and Macroeconomics courses. It was not just a dry theory, it was about being adaptable, flexible, focused and what not. I believe, that I have to mention the crucial role of Professor Zharova, who is a talented economist and great instructor. She is friendly, helpful, strong-minded, and respectful. During quarantine I’ve noticed, that this lecturer was top first to give the most effort, time, and help. I appreciate her personality. Liubov Zharova is the kind of teacher, who is always ready to communicate, always supports, finds ways to explain a difficult subject (even a hundred times, if you need it).

This time is difficult for everyone, but I respect whose people, who are all into their job. I like the passion and personal strengths that are represented by Professor Zharova. She is a GREAT example of a GREAT teacher!
