My experience of learning in UACU

Amal Abukhantash, I year student, speciality “Management + BBA”, winner of the Business English Competition:

«I have been learning in Ukrainian-American Concordia University (UACU) for just one semester but I already have some outlook on the university. Because of the pandemic I got to attend university for just a month. So, of course I didn’t feel that university life at its fullest.

But, firstly I want to talk about the team of UACU. I was gladly impressed by almost every teacher/lecture I have had. Every lecture seemed to be rather interesting and I truly enjoyed studying. You can feel that the team enjoys their work through how they communicate with the students. They were able to create a very friendly and inviting atmosphere even when we had online education.

Also, there is an amazing library at campus where I got all needed and useful books for learning. I also had access to a ton of material in a Moodle platform that every teacher individually selected.

Lastly, I have been working on a lot of projects for almost every subject. So, each lecturer always gives you feedback on your mark. And I think it is awesome because that way you now were you made mistakes and you can work on them.

Thanks to UACU I already increased my knowledge on so many things. Hopefully we will have offline education again, so that I can feel that spirit of university life.»
