This is an entry level role responsible for processing basic to relatively complex transfers. The overall objective is to perform everyday processing of all types of LCY payment/transactions .
Responsibilities:
- To be fully compliant with applicable Citibank requirements, Policies and Procedure as well as Local regulations.
- To ensure execution of the internal control procedures and policies related to the unit activity.
- Processing of local currency payments and banks own transactions, performing all related controls, including related to accounts’ regime.
- To perform controls over details to ensure that payment/transaction in the line with Local regulation and internal procedures.
- Co-operation with other Units on daily activities and conducting all investigations concerning payments in local currency
- Creating and sending files with domestic payments through different corporate/local applications, processing of all files received from SEP (as Operationist).
- Processing of customer related commissions and charges.
- Performing sanction screening (corporate and local) for domestic payments, disposition performing for potential matches.
- To prepare different reports concerning Unit’s volumes/overdue commissions.
- To participate, when required, in testing of Unit’s technical systems upgrades and enhancements.
- Work shifts.
- Other tasks required by the Employer.
Qualifications:
- Work experience in a bank and payment processing will be a preference
- Knowledge of current legislation related to local payments
- Knowledge of accounting in banks
- Good oral and written English
- communication skills and logical thinking
- Fluent oral and written Ukrainian
- Strong computer skills
- Team work skills
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
