On January 20, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced the 2023 admission model. According to the Minister of Education, Serhiy Shkarlet, admission to Bachelor’s programs, this year would be based on the NMT results. The Ukrainian language and mathematics will be required obligatory, and the third subject will be chosen from the following options: foreign language (English, French, German, or Spanish), physics, chemistry, and biology. A positive NMT result will allow you to apply for admission to any specialty, taking into consideration the weighting factors. The NMT-2023 format contains one computer-based test that lasts 180 minutes. An applicant can apply for admission this year based on the results of the 2020-2021 ZNO or NMT 2022. In general, the average score, certificate, and rural coefficient are not expected to be used this year.
