HMC Projects Interviews Held for Year 2025

This year’s selection interviews for the British scholarship programme for high school students HMC Projects are over. Over three days, from January 17th to January 19th, candidates from Ukraine were interviewed online by Mr Chris Burrows, Administrator for HMC Projects, who was the Director of Studies at West Buckland School in Devon, Miss Zoe King, a Deputy Head at Royal Hospital School in Suffolk, and Dr Ross Barrand, a Deputy Head at Roedean School in Sussex. On Friday and Saturday, the interviewers talked to 18 applicants from the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Rivne, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Zhytomyr, as well as Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk Regions. On Sunday, January 19th, interviews were held with candidates from Kirovohrad Region.

The scholars receiving full scholarship offers will be announced at the end of February – the beginning of March. Immediately after that, a few selected applicants will get an opportunity to apply for reduced-fee scholarships. Successful scholars will begin studies in the UK on September 1st, 2025.
