Anastasiia Cherepashchuk, II year student, speciality “International Economic Relations + BBA”:

“About the most inspiring course this academic year (and perhaps the next 3 years of university study).

Since February this year, we have started a new course – Organizational Leadership with instructor Elizabeth Nudelman.

I am overwhelmed with warm emotions when I think about this course. It is the best thing I have experienced in terms of studying in my life (but probably not just in terms of studying).

First of all, I want to talk about a very comfortable and well-organized course. The course was divided into 3 modules, each of which had 4-5 lectures. At the end of each module, there was a project and an exam, which is very convenient. It was possible to prepare well because the volume of all information was reduced to 4 lectures, not the material of the whole course.

Feeding of the material. The teacher prepared presentations on each topic, which were as a separate form of art! Everything was perfect, from visualization to a presentation of information (everything was clear and easily digestible). On top of that, Elisabeth had an excellent speech and was able to convey information. She commented on everything and explained everything well, so it was easy to understand all the topics.

The material was very useful. There wasn’t a single unnecessary word or material in the course that we wouldn’t need in the future. We did not hear any outdated information, everything was based on the latest theory and most current management practices. It was interesting to study all this: we watched many exciting videos, listened to stories from the life of our instructor, passed tests and in addition, Elizabeth gave us access to useful books.
Projects and other practical tasks gave us opportunities to step in the shoes of the future leaders. We invented our “own companies” and presented these projects to our classmates, passed tests to find out our personality, and identify our strengths and many other things. One of the most memorable projects for me was the self-brand project. We had to choose the cover of one of the world’s most famous magazines: “Time”, “Forbs” or “Vogue” (depending on what we want to bring into this world) and present our own: Surrounding, Actions, Beliefs and Principles, and others. One of the most interesting tasks for me in this assignment was to come up with a phrase that should sound in the room when you leave it.

This course allowed me to open myself as a leader, to find the right side towards self-improvement in management and to learn the current trends in this field. I am grateful to the university for the opportunity to attend this course, I am grateful to my instructor for the coolness of this course and for the incredible atmosphere that inspires me to work on myself.”
