Principles of Diplomacy students attended the second lecture by Luiz Velazques, an independent consultant in energy, economics, and anti-corruption processes, on US assistance and cooperation to Ukraine.
The first lecture given by the guest had a historical character of the emergence of the USAID Organization, which helped them during the second lecture to have a broader understanding of the situation. During the lecture, they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the main characteristics of the USAID Organization and the goals of their team, as well as see how extensive the mission is and hear many features of the international experience of the team. It was immeasurably interesting what view of the development of Ukraine Luiz has, as well as to analyze some strategic points on the way to building a diplomatically strong state. His experience and his path in building diplomatic relations around the world are really not only very interesting but also carry numerous examples and cases that students will need in future communications and work processes.
