HMC Projects scholarship programme have finalised the offers to study at private British boarding schools. Nine Ukrainian 10th and 11th graders received full and reduced-fee scholarship offers to study for two years in private boarding schools in the UK, starting in September 2025, i.e.:
- Ryde School (Ryde, the Isle of Wight) – a co-educational private boarding and day school on the Isle of Wight, founded in 1921 – https://www.rydeschool.org.uk/
- Ellesmere College (Ellesmere, Shropshire, England) – an independent co-educational day and boarding school set in rural northern Shropshire, located near the market town of Ellesmere; founded in 1884 by Canon Nathaniel Woodard – https://www.ellesmere.com/
- New Hall School (Chelmsford, Essex, England) – an independent co-educational school in Essex – https://www.newhallschool.co.uk/
- Dollar Academy (Dollar, Clackmannanshire, Scotland)– founded in 1818, it is the oldest co-educational boarding school in the UK, situated at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Central Scotland – https://dollaracademy.org.uk/
- Lomond School (Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute, Scotland) – a private, independent, co-educational school, located in the coastal town of Helensburgh, on the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The only day and boarding school on the west coast of Scotland, it formed in 1977 from a merger between Larchfield School (founded 1845 and previously called Larchfield Academy) and St Bride’s School for Girls (founded 1895) – https://www.lomondschool.com/
- Mount Kelly (Tavistock, Devon, England) – a private, independent, co-educational day and boarding school, established in June 2014 following the merger of Kelly College (founded in 1877) and Mount House School (founded in 1881) – https://www.mountkelly.com/

This year’s selection interviews for the British scholarship programme for high school students were held Mr Chris Burrows, Administrator for HMC Projects, who was the Director of Studies at West Buckland School in Devon, Miss Zoe King, a Deputy Head at Royal Hospital School in Suffolk, and Dr Ross Barrand, a Deputy Head at Roedean School in Sussex. The interview team of HMC Projects talked to applicants from the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Rivne, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Zhytomyr, as well as Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
