Hopkins University School of Nursing (USA)

In October 2021 UACU signed Memorandum of Understanding with Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (USA) – a school leading the way in education, research and practice – locally and globally.

The general purpose of this MOU is for the Parties to work together to create opportunities for research, collaboration and training, striving to:

1. Identify research projects which may be carried out jointly with the other Party. 
2. Seek opportunities for joint organization of scientific or cultural events.
3. Work toward an interchange of information and academic publications.

Other future activities that may result from this collaboration could include:

1. Jointly developing scientific publications, technical information brochures and journals.
2. Developing and conducting joint seminars, workshops and symposia in disciplines related to public health.
3. Conducting joint research in areas of mutual interest.

We hope this cooperation will make an input into the mutual development of schools and bring the most innovative and sustainable ideas and practices for the areas related to public health in Ukraine which are even more important in the time of pandemic.

Collaborative webinar with Johns Hopkins University

ConcordiaUA together with the famous Johns Hopkins University (USA) held a webinar for students, instructors etc. The topic was “COVID-19 and mental health: response and management”. The speakers provided us with a useful presentation and gave us the main aspects of the theme. The webinar presented the mental health situation during the pandemic, as well as its implications for the future, and offer recommendations for achieving mental health responses to COVID-19.
