The difference of interests is the way to success

Anna Voloshyna, I year student, speciality “International Economic Relations + BBA”:

«Hello, everyone! I am Ann. I am a student of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University. And I am here to tell a little bit about myself and why I choose the Concordia university.

So, to begin with I am an ambitious and curious person. It means that every time I am looking for new awesome opportunities to develop myself. My hobbies help me in it. Firstly, I am keen on learning foreign languages. For instance, I have been learning English for 10 years. Moreover, I also know Germany and Poland. During the ninths and tenths classes I had been working on my Poland scientific work and took part in Scientific contest. Actually, there I presented my results of Poland scientific work and took first place.

Secondly, I think you’ve notice that I can’t live without music. It is in my life since childhood. Frankly speaking, I play the piano. However, my life is too unpredictable, so that couple of years ago I began playing the electric guitar. And it really rocked my world. You know, new people, opportunities… and it helps me to shock everyone around;)

So… now I would like to talk about studying. Today we have lots of opportunities and a wide range of universities. My choice was the Ukrainian-American Concordia University. Here are the main reasons. Firstly, the Ukrainian-American Concordia University provides studying in English language, secondly, after graduation the students of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University will have two diplomas that help them to get well paid job in Ukraine and abroad as well. Last but not the least, I really like the way of teaching. Here professors give eminent information that without any doubts will be useful in our future career.

By the way, the atmosphere in the university is nice. Everyone here is productive and do not want to waste time, and that motivates to work harder and find new ways of developing yourself.

In conclusion I would like to say, that I am proud of being a student of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University. I will do my best to introduce the university to everyone from its’ best side.»
