Selection interviews of the British scholarship program with the HMC Projects in Central and Eastern Europe for the academic year 2022/2023 were held on January 15th and 16th, 2022. On Monday, January 17th, the interviews continued with applicants from Kropyvnytskyi and Kirovohrad region.
Dr Jonathan Wolstenholme, Director and Administrator of HMC Projects, and Mr Harry Hammond, HMC Projects interviewer, talked to 23 Ukrainian candidates who had been shortlisted for interviewing after pre-selection English language tests in their regions. This year’s interviews were held online with school seniors from Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Kyiv region, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Ternopil, Ternopil and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The scholars to be offered full scholarships for a two-year Sixth Form course in a boarding school in England or Scotland will be announced only after selection interviews have been held in all of the 15 countries of Central and Easter Europe, normally at the end of February – beginning of March.
