Dear students,

Hope you are safe and healthy.

We are in the middle of the Spring Semester, when after 24 days, your studies stopped because of Russian invasion of Ukraine. We had to stop classes, situation went out of control for some time, our sites were cyber attacked. Within a couple of weeks, the sites were restored, additional security measures were taken, international students left the country, many Ukrainian students, faculty members and staff have changed their places, going to the west or abroad. Some of our colleagues have never left Kyiv helping the university to operate.

On March 9, 2022 we were able to resume studies. It looks like UACU was the first to go back to studies. This time UACU is offering classes online in asynchronous format with lots of various tasks, forums, cases, exercises, videos, quizzes, tests etc. This format is preferable now as some of our students and faculty unfortunately are not having appropriate facilities: lack of computers, internet, as well as alarms and staying in shelters.

Today UACU Academic Council has advised the faculty to hold online consulting students, so you will communicate with your instructors, get answers to your questions, have discussions together.

Special attention from the first day of the war was given to cooperation development with our international partners, and now we have excellent results.

For now, we have developed intensive programs for our students with Concordia University Wisconsin (USA), ACSENDA School of Management Vancouver, (Canada), University of Trier (Germany), the American International University in London Richmond (Great Britain).

Our students take courses from our partners online and on-site. It’s a great opportunity, especially during this disastrous time for Ukraine.

UACU administration is working on more possibilities with German Universities – The University of Koblenz-Landau, University of Gutenberg Mainz, University of Applied Sciences Worms, Turkish Universities and others to increase opportunities for students of UACU and other Ukrainian universities.
