On November 11, Heorhiy Dubinskyi, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine was invited to the UACU and the Zoom meeting was held on the topic “Digital Public Policy”. Mr. Dubinskyi served as First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, adviser to the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, representative of the National Academy of sciences of Ukraine in the USA. During the lecture, the issues of the formation of a digital society in Ukraine were considered. The speaker shared the successes of Ukraine that were achieved before the starting of the war, told about the work of the Ministry of Digitalization after February 24, 2022 until now. He also described the plans of the Ministry until 2030. Among the participants of the meeting were not only students of the university, but also the staff of the university, and most importantly – partners and friends of the university. Partners and colleagues joined us. They were from United States of America, Canada, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hong Kong. The event was truly international. We thank the lecturer for his interesting practical knowledge, the Rector’s Special Advisor Paul Thomas for his excellent moderation of the event, and the guests for their friendly atmosphere and interesting questions.
