As Accountant (fixed-term contract) you will take care for different accounting activities, such as preparing reports, reviewing balance sheet, working with invoices according to group norms and standards. You will also be involved into different local and group projects, to improve existing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and validate accounting operations (both general and analytical).
- Draft trial balance/general balance reconciliation statements and justifications of accounts within the required deadlines, ensuring that the cut-off dates of the accounting periods are respected.
- Check that the Group’s accounting procedures and principles are properly applied in relation to orders, payment deadlines, accounting charges, etc.
- Draft the monthly Intercompany reconciliation as well as the justification of discrepancies.
- Provide information to general accounting for the drawing up of tax statements (VAT, fee statements, etc.).
- Support with intra group and transfer pricing projects
Your Background:
- University degree (ACCA, CIMA would be an asset)
- Knowledge and experience in accounting/finance area
- Experience in corporate tax or tax consulting
- Analytical ability, accuracy and meticulousness
- Ability to work under time pressure
- High interpersonal and communication skills
- Upper-intermediate in English
- Advanced knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in MS Office (mainly MS Excel)
