On October 27, 2023, Microsoft Alumni Network and Ukrainian-American Concordia University hosted a webinar between Microsoft’s main campus in Seattle and Ukrainian students and pupils. The students were able to ask questions during the webinar with Microsoft’s executives, who shared their vast experience in leadership and career development. Students of ConcordiaUa and other Ukrainian universities, as well as teenagers from military schools attended the meeting.
Mike Novasio, Trustee and Treasurer of the Microsoft Alumni Network, spoke about his work as Microsoft Partner General Manager of Operations responsible for global digital security and direct consumption services (Live Meeting, O365). Crystal Wilson, Business Manager, Microsoft Alumni Network, spoke about her experience as a Microsoft Business Manager (Business Management for the CEO and Global team). Cloe Zeng, Global Business Leader and Technology Executive, spoke about her experience as a senior business executive at Microsoft responsible for global planning and launching operations. The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector of ConcordiaUA – Yuliia Romanovska. She and her colleagues Olga Glazova and Tetiana Nyzhnyk welcomed the participants, spoke about the university’ study programs and the events the university holds for students.
