On October 30, 2024, His Excellency Alexandru Victor Micula, Ambassador of Romania to Ukraine, visited Ukrainian-American Concordia University in Kyiv to meet with local youth for an engaging discussion on “The European Idea and European Integration”. This inspiring event gathered professors, high school students from the Kyiv Junior Academy of Sciences, representatives from the Shevchenkivskyi District Education Department, student leaders (SHARM), and UACU’s own students, faculty and staff.
Attendees eagerly participated, raising thoughtful questions and exploring the social and cultural ties between Ukraine and Romania. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this impactful event! A special shoutout goes to Sergii Vakarin, UACU’s Honorary Doctor in International Relations and Director of the Center for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, for co-organizing this important meeting with the Ambassador of Romania.
