International Symposium for University Students and Young Researchers “Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship” was held online in Ukrainian-American Concordia University on May 18, 2020.
Many of our American and European colleagues and friends, instructors and students, who presented their researches spoke and participated in the discussion.
In total, more than 60 abstracts were submitted.
Our students and guests received greetings from:
Dr. Elaine Sarao (USA) – Ph.D., ConcordiaUA Associate Rector, Advisor to Rector and Honorary Doctor in the sphere of International Relations and Public Diplomacy of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University.
Prof. Dipl.-Des. Stephan Schupbach (Germany) – Professor for Industrial Design at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, ConcordiaUA Guest Professor.
Prof. Dr. phil. h.c. Dr. phil. h.c. Moritz Hunzinger (Germany) – Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Brocard Group, Expert in PR, Honorary Senator of the Ukrainian Free University, ConcordiaUA Honorary Doctor and Professor.
Mr. Paul R. Thomas – Advisor to the Rector, a leading business expert specializing in Natural Resource Economics and International Finance and lecturer of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University.
Our masters and bachelors presented their scientific researches and analyzed them with the others among them: Dariia Abakshyna, Arfia Fatima, Anton Prima, Maryna Lubkina, Arthur Strygun, Alina Varakuta, Vlada Mykhailova.
Students of Kyiv National Economic University also joined the scientific discussion.
The event lasted more than 3 hours. An interesting informative discussion unfolded after each speech that gave us an opportunity to consider comprehensively the questions of economic and social consequences of the economy collapses, the role of entrepreneurship and actions to overcome crisis situations.
