“Hi! I am Ann. I am a first-year student of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University (ConcordiaUA). Frankly speaking, I am proud of being a part of this unity! Actually, when I was at school I could not even image the life in university. It seemed like something really hard and unreachable because of final exams at school. However, now I am a fresher and that is why I have lots of impressions about life in university.
To begin with, the lectures in the ConcordiaUA are interesting and cognitive; professors are qualified specialists and really love their job. They present the material distinctly and without any unnecessary information, so you will not have any issues to pass your midterms and final exams. Furthermore, there are many practical tasks, such as working in team, doing different projects, presentations etc. I should notice that it is a great opportunity to digest the material and spend time with your peers. Moreover, it is the first steps to the business sphere. Thus, students do not have time to procrastinate, as we strain after having high marks and gaining as much knowledge as possible.
Another eminent moment is that the ConcordiaUA provides students with clear online platform where we can do our home assignments, listen to lectures and follow the upcoming events. During the quarantine period it is convenient to watch lessons there and talk to professors. Also, we have already had an opportunity to pass the midterms on that online platform. The main advantage is that a student cannot cheat, as there is special safe exam browser, so it successfully checks the students’ knowledge of a subject.
Social life in the ConcordiaUA is a unique thing. Here everyone can find friends and people with interesting hobbies. Actually, at the beginning of studying there is a freshmen party where it is much easier to make friends. Unfortunately, due to the quarantine we do not have a chance to take part in social activities, but I am sure that soon it will have happened.
In conclusion I would like to say that I enjoy being a student of the ConcordiaUA. That’s why I will do my best to get high marks and receive an important experience that will definitely help me in the foreseeable future.”
