Oksana Gutsalenko about University

Oksana Gutsalenko,  Master, 2007

I graduated in 2007, nevertheless I can see my memories almost all so clearly and feel as if those days were not very long ago. I have many good memories from my University. Some of my fellow students became close friends, and we spent countless pleasant moments not only in classrooms.

We organized various activities outside of the curriculum, such as cultural events or camping trips. We spent a super short but so useful time at University partner- Schiller University in London where we were getting our fundamentals of IT course and I made my first web-site. Also, I was getting part in our weekly student-made newspaper. I’m thankful for the internship opportunities as well, for the ability to learn from the multicultural student body and internationally minded faculty

There were and are many unforgettable personalities among our teachers, guest lecturers, honorary doctors and professors. I’m happy that a lot of subjects were close to real life, that we grew up with no corruption, plagiarism and bureaucracy in our University`s walls, but with tolerance, morality, willing to make this world a bit better. I’m really happy to see myself and alumni with such principles in action!

There were and is still a great, friendly Governance and Administration team. It is a big honor to see the changes at University to meet the needs of the 21st century and support during all the time. All in all, I’m thankful for the ability to be useful for my University after graduating.
