Nine Ukrainian pupils are starting the academic year 2022 in British boarding schools: HMCP scholars have been announced

For the fifth year in a row, the Ukrainian-American Concordia University as the National Coordinator of HMC Projects for Ukraine (Kyiv) organised the pre-selection of candidates and selection interviews with applicants for a two-year scholarship in British boarding schools.

23 Ukrainian high school pupils from Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Kyiv region, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Ternopil, Ternopil and Zaporizhzhia regions took part in selection interviews for the British scholarship program under HMC Projects in Central and Eastern Europe.

Following this year’s selection interviews, held in January 2022 by Dr Jonathan Wolstenholme, Director and Administrator of HMC Projects, and Mr Harry Hammond, HMC Projects interviewer, six Ukrainians were offered a full scholarship for a two-year Sixth Form course in a boarding school in England or Scotland starting September 1st, 2022. Another five Ukrainian pupils were offered an opportunity to apply for a reduced fee. On the initiative and with the support of HMC Projects, reduced-fee scholars also received full scholarship offers.

Nine Ukrainian pupils (not taking into account the scholarship winners from Kirovohrad region) are starting the academic year 2022 in the following British boarding schools:
