Academic integrity is one of the key factors in guaranteeing the quality of education and the level of training of students as future professionals.

Correct and timely awareness of the types of academic dishonesty, as well as ways to avoid them when writing papers, teaching students the norms and rules of writing and preparing tasks, papers, scientific researches make it impossible to manifest academic dishonesty.

A clear plan of preparation for writing the paper, understanding the basic principles and requirements, processing the sources and correctly highlighting them in the paper are steps to completing the task that meets all norms of academic integrity. Compliance with norms ensures equality and correctness of assessment of works and their analysis.

Among the types of academic dishonesty, it is possible to single out, in particular

  • plagiarism,
  • copy pasting,
  • performance of tasks by another student,
  • performing tasks for another student and others.

Course Work, Internship reports, Bachelor’s and Master’s Qualification Works, as well as any written work of students are checked for plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty. The UACU has established standards for the percentage of plagiarism in works, in the presence of which work is

1) admitted,

2) sent for revision,

3) rejected.

In addition, Course Work, Internship reports, Bachelor’s Qualification Works and Master’s Qualification Works are checked by the Unicheck service.

 The main regulations and details regarding academic integrity are provided, among others, in the Code of Academic Integrity and Corporate Ethics, in the Regulations on Internal Education Quality Assurance at UACU. Ensuring academic integrity is an important task for creating an atmosphere of trust and honesty and a high level of achievement in the academic community.
