The headquarters of Microsoft and UAUK conducted a videoconference on the initiative of Sergei Vakarin. Representatives of Microsoft Alumni Network’s top management and UAUK Vice-rector Julia Romanovska answered the questions of university students.
Now it is extremely important to maintain broad international support of Ukraine, especially by the American intellectual elite, which influences the provision of US aid to Ukraine. In March 2022, Sergei Vakarin sent a request to the management of Microsoft to help Ukraine as much as possible, which Microsoft Senior Business Director Cloe Zeng disseminated among current and former employees of the company. An important channel of aid to the Armed Forces and educational institutions of Ukraine was established, in particular, ex-Microsoft employee Hryhoriy Stepanets bequeathed 5 million US dollars to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and Ukrainian universities.
And recently, President Zelensky met with Penny Pritzker, a Board Director of Microsoft, who became the supervisor of the aid that the US provides to Ukraine.
