Job Purpose and Impact

The Credit Analyst will perform complex credit activities. In this role, you will contribute to handling accounts, maintaining data, counterparty portfolio relations and reporting. We seek a professional who will help develop, recommend and implement our controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization’s risks.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform independent counterparty assessments and analysis on credit requests and limits, review the limits if necessary.
  • Identify and analyze potential sources of loss to minimize risk and estimate the potential financial consequences of a loss.
  • Research credit history (i.e., collect personal or business data for analysis, run credit reports, etc.).
  • Follow up overdue accounts; initiate demand letters, phone calls to delinquent accounts and external debt collection, etc., soft and hard collection management.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of defined reports showing account performance, ensure proper documentation in place as required by policy.
  • Work actively with the commercial teams to monitor the over limit and high risk exposures in order to take the necessary actions to mitigate risks and follow up on action plans, debt repayment plan of overdue/bad debt customers.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master degree in Finance/Accounting/Jurispudence.
  • Fluent English (Intermediate level enough for speaking).
  • Strong understanding and experience in credit analysis, internal control and/or experience in plant/production environment is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of systems and processes to ensure courts and financials verification and analysis.
  • Good understanding of contractual and civil law.
  • Advanced MS Office user, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience in 1C v8 is an advantage.
