Амаль Абуханташ, студентка 1 курсу спеціальності Менеджмент та міжнародної програми ВВА, переможець університетської олімпіади з ділової англійської мови, навчається успішно, тому одержує стипендію:
“Just recently I started a new hobby-makeup, something that I had been passionate about for quite a long time.
Ever since middle school I started increasing my knowledge about it. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos that brought me so much joy and inspiration, which were basically sort of tutorials that teach you how to do makeup. My first attempt at doing it was not good, it really takes a lot of practice to acquire the skills of makeup.
Right now I am learning at a specific professional makeup courses and becoming better at my hobby every day. Although some people may argue that makeup is not really a hobby, in comparison to reading or singing. But for me hobby is something that brings you pleasure, joy and fun.
Makeup also boosts my mood and confidence. I can express my creativity through makeup and I also believe makeup is a type of art, because you are free to choose any color, any style and feel like an artist creating a canvas on your face.
In my opinion, not everyone is capable of adopting this hobby. It may seem easy but it demands a lot of time and dedication. Especially in professional makeup, where you have to learn color analytics, different face and eyes shapes and what makeup will suit every person on an individual level.
So, this is my hobby and I couldn’t be happier to be able to have an opportunity to learn makeup and be creative with it.”
