Job Purpose and Impact
The Credit Analyst will perform complex credit activities. In this role, you will contribute to handling accounts, maintaining data, counterparty portfolio relations and reporting. We seek a professional who will help develop, recommend and implement our controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization’s risks.
Key Accountabilities
- Using advanced knowledge, collect and maintain customer accounts; track account status, report on outstanding balances and prioritize collection activity.
- Identify and analyze potential sources of loss to minimize risk and estimate the potential financial consequences of a loss.
- Research credit history (i.e., collect personal or business data for analysis, run credit reports, etc.).
- Follow up overdue accounts; initiate demand letters, phone calls to delinquent accounts and external debt collection, etc.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of defined reports showing account performance.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in Jurispudence, Finance/Economics.
- 2+ years of experience in credit/risk analysis, knowledge in finance analysis, financial reports.
- Good understanding of conractual and civil law, experience in analyzing open courts database.
- Fluent English (ability to interact confidently on different organization levels, both verbal and written).
- Excel knowledge.
