As the Contract Logistics Customer Solutions Analyst, you will be a part of the solutions design process in Ukraine in Contract Logistics department.
Your Role
You will be working in a dynamic operational division with a challenging project agenda – designing operational solutions for customers on RFQs, delivering projects by utilizing Kuehne+Nagel’s global tools and methodologies, and cooperating with other functions within department and the Company.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyzing and investigating logistic processes both of existing and new customers, based on the available data, reasonable assumptions, and your experience
- (Re-) design logistic solutions and improvements concerning logistics processes (inbound & outbound processes, warehouse & distribution processes, warehouse layouts)
- Optimizing existing processes by acting as a logistics expert in continuous improvement projects run by operational teams. Assist and work closely with the CTI (implementation) team in preparation of a full-fletched implementation and project plans
- Follow-up of all steps of the implementation to ensure realization as scheduled within the budget. Problem-solving and solution coordination on all issues that appear during the implementation phase. Use of global calculation tool (GCT) and supporting tools for warehouse calculations to create a logistics solution
- Assist and work closely with the Business Development team in performing activity-based cost calculations and support proactive and competitive responses to tenders (RFQ’s)
- Perform your responsibilities in accordance with policies, objectives, and Management System documents of Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Information Security.
- Complete tasks delegated from top management that are compatible with the knowledge, skills, and education.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Higher education in Logistics or similar departments
- Experience in the logistics sector will be a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Confident intermediate level of English – ability to speak, write and understand written technical information
- Analytical skills with strong attention to details
- Ability to multitask and a high level of responsibility
- Professional curiosity and willingness to learn.
