“By taking this course, I was able to gain an understanding on the importance of providing emotional support, creating safe spaces for individuals in distress and helping people find their own solutions for their problems. Additionally, I was also able to learn about self-care techniques that can help improve one’s mental health and well-being. All these insights have helped me become more aware of how my actions can affect others in times of crisis and have equipped me with the skills needed to provide psychological first aid when needed.

The course was an eye-opening experience for me, as it showed me the true power of psychological aid and how it can help people cope with difficult situations. It also made me realize that being able to provide psychological aid is a great skill to have, both professionally and personally.

Psychological First Aid is a critical life skill that everyone should learn to help support those who are going through a crisis. Through this course, I was able to gain invaluable insights into the importance of providing psychological first aid in times of need. From understanding the basics of PFA and its core principles, to learning about the different types of interventions and how to implement them in real-life situations, so this course provided me with a comprehensive overview on how to provide psychological first aid.

Regarding the specific information I’ve learned, this course provided me with insight into the RAPID model which is used to provide psychological aid in times of crisis. I’ve learned that this model stands for Recognize, Assess, Plan, Intervene and Deliver.
