Your Role and Responsibilities
Drives the strategy, sale and closure of deals for select offerings and use cases. Partners with an IBM Technology Sales Executive to achieve account strategy objectives. Proactively identifies and pursues new opportunities to sell within assigned offering portfolio. Maintains contemporary technical skills and offering knowledge. Leverages marketing to drive customer lifetime value (LTV).

Professional knowledge related to incumbent’s department or function.

Engaged as an independent professional. Ability to articulate and compare alternatives approaches. Negotiate with specified objectives.

Problem Solving:
Recognize problems related to project objectives. Creativity and judgment applied to professional technical, or operational problems. Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance and
improve or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.

Contribution:
Works on special projects. Understands departmental mission and vision. Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization. Generally controls own work priorities and methods requiring tradeoffs.

Impact on Business/Scope:
Accountable for individual or department results, and for the impact of the results on functional activities. Participates in overall departmental program planning. Contributes by supporting activities that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or impact immediate costs or expenses.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • A minimum of 3 years client facing sales experience;
  • demonstrable experience of selling data storage ( HW and or SW) Solutions;
  • Core Storage, Virtualisation, Management or Back-up;
  • CIO level sales experience;
  • a grasp of the key customer challenges and trends in the data storage market;
  • a Comprehensive understanding of the storage vendor landscape;
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • English: Fluent;
  • Ukrainian: Fluent.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • A Broad professional network of customers and business partners in the Data Storage marketplace;
  • deep technical knowledge of more than one storage vendor’s solutions.
