We are looking for a Business Administrator / Economist to support our local engineering team based in Kiev, Ukraine. Within this role you will be working closely with our colleagues from HQ providing administrative support and commercial support in the area of engineering services provision (cross-border projects). 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Commercial support in the area of engineering services provision (cross-border projects)
  • Preparation of contractual documentation, orders, calculations, commercial justifications, invoices, reports necessary for projects execution
  • Ensuring that project activities (commercial part) are conducted in accordance with Siemens Energy guidelines for project execution
  • Initiation and support of the assignments abroad of the engineering team: initiate and control travel approval process, prepare cost estimations, conduct clarifications between regional entities, coordinate the provision of necessary documents (e.g. visa, international passport, international driver license, tickets reservation, medical insurance, certificates and their translation, invitation letters, declarations etc.);
  • Securing the correct and timely examination of employees’ travel expenses according to internal and external regulations to secure timely and correct accounting to projects
  • Securing correct and timely examination of employees’ booked hours to ensure timely and correct accounting to projects
  • Preparation of documentation for financial department of the company: certificates of acceptance, VAT bills, invoices, etc.
  • Communicating with customers/suppliers on ongoing working and financial matters
  • Maintenance of proactive cooperation with central divisions and business unites of the company

What You Bring 

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as an economist or financial specialist
  • English on a business conversational level is a must – both written and spoken
  • Strong initiative skills, ability to work independently, self-management skills
  • Proficient in problem solving, decision making and multitasking
  • German would be considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP system would be considered as an advantage
